I had an unexpected moment of kindness today. The Clothesline Art Show was today in Hudson. When I stopped at the show this afternoon to work my shift, the members of my group told me that a family had been in, and one of their daughters had spent some time looking at my drawings. She asked for a piece of paper and pen, which they gave her.
She created her own version of my “Bamboo Flowers” drawing and left it for me.
For one thing, she did a wonderful drawing. Did I mention she’s 7 years old?
And for another thing, I’m touched that she left the drawing for me. How generous!
I’m impressed. And touched. I’ve been carrying the drawing with me all day. It makes me happy to look at it.
So, Miss Anna, thank you!
