The weather is getting nice, so the goal of these sketching sessions is to get outside! Throw a folding chair in your car, wear comfy shoes, bring a hat, sunscreen, bug spray – whatever you need to be comfortable.
Most of these locations are meant to be central meeting points. If the weather is nice, we’ll work outside. If it’s crummy, we’ll find refuge indoors.
Bring your own materials (sketchbook, paper, pencil, pen, watercolor kit). We usually begin with a few quick sketches as a group to get warmed up, then work independently on views that interest us. There’s no fee and minimal instruction.
You’re welcome to come join us whenever you can. We meet at 9AM, except for the happy hour sketch on June 1.
