The light at the end of the day as the colors cool down, shadows deepen, and twilight settles in. That’s what this painting reminds me of.
8 x 8 inches, acrylic paint and ink on paper.
Mounted on 1-1/2 inch deep gallery wrapped canvas. It can hang on a wall, or stand on a shelf.
Signed on the front and back.

Finding your blog out throught CED, I love your paintings, really talking to me ! greetings from France,
Thank you! I’m glad you stopped by. Isn’t CED a wonderful way to meet other creatives?
Oh, Karen – I really like this one! I am curious if you took this photo with the set up you had in the studio the other day?
I love the colors and I adore dusk – the transition times of sunrise and sunset and the time just before and after are among my favorite times to be outdoors.
So glad you shared this today! It feels like I needed to see specifically this painting!
Thanks, Julie. Yes, I took the photo yesterday with my lights and set up. (So good to have the space to do photos the right way.)
Glad you enjoy the painting. 🙂 Dusk is such a magical time, isn’t it? Neither day nor night, but something else.
Just wandered over from AEDM.
Fantastic artwork; colourful, vibrant and acrobatic! 🙂
I’m glad you wandered over here, Nigel! Are you enjoying AEDM?
