Hands mean so much to us. They can mean start or stop, come or stay away, hello or goodbye, give or receive, and so much more. What do they mean to you?
Hands are so expressive, as expressive as our faces, and such interesting shapes.
I love that these two are blooming, and seem to me to be offering their bounty.
These are both 12×9 inches on paper. Made with old dictionary pages, origami paper, and flowers from either an old calendar or catalog.
And, yes, those are my hand prints. If you have never photocopied your hands, well, what are you waiting for??
These 2 pieces are on display at Peninsula Art Academy as part of the Ohio Collage Society Members show. The show runs through July 26, and I encourage you to go see it.
